Brigade Energy Services initiated Project Dinosaur Decommission to ensure outdated, previously underinvested, under-spec, and potentially unsafe equipment becomes “extinct” and permanently decommissioned. We believe this is a better outcome for all oilfield stakeholders rather than auctioning or irresponsibly passing liabilities on to others, as has been customary in the workover sector. Throughout the decommissioning process, meaningful quantities of valuable scrap metals, such as steel, copper, and aluminum are recycled and reused.
